Welcome to this beautifully remodeled Westside single-level home on over 1/4 acre! Located in one of Moss Beach’s most desirable neighborhoods, this home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac that ends at a beautiful field looking over the ocean. The formal entryway has a beautiful herringbone wood floor that sets it apart from the rest of the home and warmly welcomes those who enter.

The living room has a dining area and large picture windows overlooking the majestic rear yard. Beautiful ‘hand scraped’ oak hardwood flooring gives the room a cozy feel and continues throughout the home.

The heart of the home is the gourmet chef’s kitchen, featuring a large island with a quartz countertop and high-end stainless steel appliances, including double ovens, a gas cooktop,  a Bosch dishwasher, and a wine fridge. The expansive countertops around the kitchen are soapstone with a pristine white subway tile backsplash and custom cabinetry.

The great room off the kitchen has a gas insert fireplace and two skylights, offering an excellent area for conversation and connection to the kitchen activities.

Adjacent to the kitchen/great room is a sun-filled studio/multi-purpose room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a knotty pine vaulted ceiling, and eight skylights. Sliding doors lead out to the back deck.

The primary suite has double closets and a recently remodeled bathroom with marble countertops, dual sinks, a walk-in shower, and a separate water closet. Sliding glass doors lead to the rear yard.

The other two bedrooms are serviced by a remodeled bathroom with quartz countertops and a shower over the tub.

There is a particular room that is not to be missed!  In the hallway, a pull-down ladder leads to a finished attic space with windows that can be used for storage or a play area.

Entertaining is a dream in the magnificent rear yard, which features a pizza oven, wood fire pit, and built-in propane BBQ. The large deck is lovely for gatherings, large and small, and the expansive rear lawn is lush and relaxing, providing another space to play.

Walking distance to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and coastal trails.

A truly lovely place to call home!

Moss Beach is a coastal census-designated place in San Mateo County, California, with a year 2010 census population of 3,103. Located in Moss Beach are the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, a marine sanctuary; the Half Moon Bay Airport, the historic Moss Beach Distillery; and the Seal Cove Inn, a destination lodging property.

Temperatures are mild throughout the year. Due to the marine air currents off of the Pacific Ocean, Moss Beach experiences above average fog levels, but also superior ambient air quality. Situated along the coast of Moss Beach is the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, a California designated area of Special Biological Significance. The Reserve boasts a scenic bluff top trail through ancient cypress groves overlooking the Pacific Ocean, interesting tide pools and a variety of significant marine animals and birds.

The Coastside is proud of its agriculture and floriculture and roadside stands sell locally grown fruits and vegetables. Fresh seafood is available in local restaurants or for buying right off the boats in Pillar Point Harbor, to take home and prepare yourself. Residents of the Coastside live a lifestyle that many think no longer exists in California. Neighbors care about each other, schools are important, and there is a sense of real community.
